Gary Rogers, who played a key role in keeping Galway United in the Premier Division last season, has become the second Galway player to sign for St Pat's ahead of the coming season.

“It’s great to be linking up with Jeff Kenna again, he did a great job at Galway and I’m sure he’ll do a good job at St Pat's. I’m looking forward to being a part of that, to playing for a big club like Pat's and to challenging for trophies”, said Rogers.

An FAI Cup medal holder with Drogheda United, the 27 year old goalkeeper is looking forward to the new season at Richmond Park. He said: “No doubt there will competition for the number one spot but that can only be a good thing for me and for the club”.
