Sports World new main sponsor for Waterford United

WATERFORD United have announced Sports World as the club’s new sponsor for the 2014 season.
Sports World joins as the club’s main sponsor and the Blues 2014 jersey will carry the Sports World name for the new season.
Sports World is one of Ireland’s fastest growing sports stores with over 26 branches throughout Ireland.
Waterford United Chairman John O’Sullivan welcomed the announcement: “This is a big boost to Waterford United and the club is thrilled to welcome Sports World on board as the club’s main sponsor for the coming season.
“Sports World is a renowned name known around the country and we are delighted to welcome them to the club. Their sponsorship is a huge vote of confidence Waterford United and to League of Ireland football in Waterford.
“Our commercial director Chris Smyth has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure the new sponsorship and the announcement is the culmination of months of hard work.
“The club would also like to thank Three for their sponsorship over the past number of seasons and for their support of Waterford United.”
