Cork sign Kilduff on loan deal

Cork City have moved swiftly to bring in the extra firepower that Tommy Dunne’s side desperately needed as the transfer window has barely blown open.

The 24 year old striker, who has had previous spells at UCD and Kildare County, has put pen to paper on a loan deal that will conclude at the end of the 2013 season.

The news of Kilduff's arrival will come as a relief on Leeside as City have lacked that goal-scoring prowess needed in recent weeks. Kilduff will also benefit from regular first team football, something Trevor Croly could not guarantee in Tallaght.

Shamrock Rovers have wished the striker well in his loan spell and look forward to welcoming him back to Tallaght following the conclusion of his loan spell. Kilduff is contracted with the Hoops till the end of the 2014 season.
