FAI Cup second round draw made

The FAI Ford Cup draw was made on Monday evening and defending champions Derry City will begin their title chase at Blarney United.

 

The Second Round games, scheduled for the weekend of June 2nd, feature two all-Premier Division ties. Aaron Callaghan’s Bohemians host last season’s semi-finalists Drogheda United while last year’s losing finalists St Patricks Athletic are paired with UCD.

 

There is also guaranteed to be at least two non-league teams in the third round as the first game drawn was Tolka Rovers v College Corinthians while the last game was Avondale United v Sheriff YC.
