James Keddy’s Wexford have unveiled the re-signing of defender Ethan Boyle ahead of the 2024 campaign.

And the former Shamrock Rovers defender will be joined at the Ferrycarrig Park outfit by James Crawford, Reece Webb, Ben Lynch and Aaron Robinson.

Boyle was one of Keddy’s star performers during the 2023 season that ended with a narrow play-off defeat to Cobh Ramblers over two-legs.

And he will be hopeful that he can maintain his level of performances once again.

Likewise, former Longford Town defender Lynch will be hellbent on doing the same.

The Co Kildare lad made 24 starts and 1 sub appearance throughout the year, looking capable throughout the season.

17-year-old Crawford, son of Ireland under-21 boss Jim, also caught the eye for the Slaneysiders and made over 30 appearances, whereas Webb impressed by picking up the club’s fans player of the year award.

Robinson, however, returns after enduring a wretched injury-hit season that was beset by a long-term knee injury picked up at the start of the season.
