Taner’s Biography
Tanar spent pre-season in 2020 with Dundalk before joining back up with the squad in June 2020 as they resumed training following the Covid-19 pandemic. Tanar then signed on loan with Athlone for the rest of the season in Athlone 2020. Taner scored 4 goals in 18 appearances for Athlone before re-signing with Dundalk for the 2021 campaign. In February 2021, Taner signed on loan with Athlone once again from his parent club Dundalk. However, only a number of weeks later he returned to Dundalk due to what manager Shane Keegan sighted as limited opportunity for gametime with Athlone.
