Having played his youth football with St Kevin's, Daniel got a move to Brighton but he never made a senior appearance and instead had to settle for U23 football. But after four years Daniel returned home and in December 2018, Daniel signed with Keith Long's Bohemians side ahead of the 2019 season. In July 2019, Daniel signed back with Bohs for the 2020 season. In December 2020, Danny signed for Shamrock Rovers.
