Kevin played for Douglas Hall during their FAI Cup run of 2008 which ended with defeat to Drogheda United and also spent several very successful years with Avondale United. In January 2014 Kevin joined Cork City under new manager John Caulfield. He made his debut in an EA Cup game against Waterford United at Turner's Cross on 5 May but didn't make a league appearance before quitting the club on 10 June due to work commitments.

In February 2015 Kevin signed for Martin Cambridge at Cobh Ramblers and went on to make nineteen league appearances, scoring once in a 2-1 defeat to Wexford, as Cobh finished sixth in the First Division. He stayed with Cobh under Stephen Henderson in 2016 and made a further 18 league appearances as the Rams finished third.

Kevin committed to a third season at St Colman's Park in December of 2016 but he played no part in Ramblers' First Division campaign that year.
