Cathal’s Biography
He left Kilkenny at the end of the 2006 season.
Cathal joined Kilkenny City, from Shamrock Rovers, at the start of the 2006 season.
Cathal played his schoolboy football at Home Farm under Harry Cobb, Gerry McClintock and Irish international player Linda Gorman.
He went on to join Bohemians after he was signed up on a FAS course by Gino Brazil and stayed at Dalymount for two years.
Having joined Dublin City at the start of the 2005 season Cathal left and signed for Rovers in July the same year, when he made his debut in the 3-2 win against Bray Wanderers.
Although he played mostly as centre half while at Bohemians, he alternated between right full and central midfield during his days at Home Farm.
A strong type of player, Cathal won't be easily knocked off the ball.
