Biography

Daire was a member of Sligo Rovers' U17 and U19 squads in 2021 and in the summer of 2022 he bagan to play with the senior squad. In September 2023 he left Sligo to join John Caulfield's Galway United, helping the club to the 2023 First Division title.

In January 2024 Daire signed a season-long loan deal at Kerry FC. McCarthy left Ireland to attend the University of North Carolina in September 2024 and play with their soccer team the Charlotte 49ers.
