Filip’s Biography
Filip was called up to the Slovakia squad to face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in March 2016. He was with FC Sydney at the time. Filip started his career at AS Trencin before quickly moving to Czech club Slovan Liberec. He then played for Turksih sides Manisaspor and Besiktas before joining Australian club FC Sydney in July 2015.
Ahead of the friendlies against Latvia and the Rep. of Ireland, Filip had amassed 65 caps and 8 goals.
