Surely the last roll of the dice for UCD as they win a free kick out wide and Healy comes forward... but it amounts to nothing.
Once again Cobh are able to open up the UDD backline and this time Turner is behind, but from a relatively tight angle he can only hit the side netting.
Super low save from Healy to deny Devitt from the edge of the box as Cobh again carve the UCD defence up.
Rams line up an elaborate free kick routine 25 yards out but the net result is Ian Turner blasting his shot over.
Colm Whelan (UCD) scores from the penalty spot. Whelan halves the deficit from the spot after David O'Leary clumsily takes down Adam Lennon in the box.
The shock of those two goals seems to have spurred UCD in action but they're still short of accuracy, and Barron deals easily with a speculative cross into the box from deep.
Jake Hegarty (Cobh Ramblers) scores. Hegarty again! Two in three minutes for Cobh but there's some controversy as Dara Keane is down injured but the visitors play on, and Hegarty look offside as he runs through to smash home a second low into the corner.
Jake Hegarty (Cobh Ramblers) scores. Cobh hit the front early in the second half as Lee Devitt splits open the back three with a through ball for Hegarty, who stays onside to score his second in as many games.
UCD open Cobh up with another corner routine and Higgins is teed up at the edge of the box but he doesn't really catch his shot and it's easily blocked.
We're underway for the second half with the home side shooting into the sun.
All square at the break in a gave of few chances, with a few shots from distance, none of which troubled either keeper, the extent of the action so far.
Half-chance for Whelan as the ball sits up 25 yards out, but he skies his volley and Barron is never in danger.
And the medics have signalled to the UCD bench that Verdon won't be able to continue and a change will be made, as Evan Osam becomes the next to go down with a knock to the head.
More concern for UCD as Adam Verdon goes up for a header with Jake Hegarty and comes off second best with what looked a heavy blow to the head/neck.
A super UCD break sees Kerrigan exchange passes with Higgins before driving through two challenges and, though he keeps his feet, he can't pick out Whelan at the back post.
Liam Kerrigan was, in fact, Dara Keane but it looks like he'll be OK, whoever he is.
Cobh have the ball in the net as Ian Turner runs through and slots home, but he's called back for offside. of more concer tothe home side will be Liam Kerrigan, who fell awkwardly as he tried to win the ball back in his own half.
Kerrigan does well to win a free kick on the right touchline and Weir swings it in left-footed, finding O'Brien at the back post, but he can't direct his header back across goal.
Harvey O'Brien a touch fortunate to get away with just a warning for a, let's say, professional foul on Devitt.
The action on the field has died down a little but I'm excited to report I've been joined on the desk by a brown spider and a greenfly.
Some crisp passing sees Donal Higgins wriggle free on the left before switching the ball to Farrell. He slips in Kerrigan, who drops a shoulder and blasts over the bar from a tight angle.
Super cross from the right from Eoin Farrell is almost perfect for the arriving Collie Whelan but Ben O'Riordan does brilliantly to get their first and head it out. The resulting corner comes to nothing in spite of some half-hearted appeals for handball.
The visitors look to test Healy again from range but Jake Hegarty can't keep his shot down.
Cobh a little bit slack from a corner as Evan Weir finds Kerrigan in space on the edge of the box, and he smashes the ball goalwards from 20 yards and only misses the bar by an inch. Good effort.
First shot in anger goes Cobh's away as a nice one-touch move sees the ball drop for Killian Cooper, and he attempts a first-time volley that rolls harmlessly wide of Lorcan Healy's goal.
Lee Devitt perhaps a tad fortunate Eoin Farrell doesn't react as the Cobh midfielder kicks out as the pair tangle on the ground.
The Students probing the Cobh defence early doors but an attempted through ball for Liam Kerrigan is easily tended by Cobh keeper Sean Barron.
And we're underway at the UCD Bowl, where the home side are wearing their white change kit and the visitors their usual claret and blue.
