A good period of Lilywhite possession sees Gannon find Colovic who finds Duffy, he takes a shot from a narrow angle 22 yards out which nearly deceives Talbot in the goal, but he just about manages to smother it.

Bohs name a settled side, with Michael Barker taking the place of the injured Andy Lyons, while Paddy Kirk replaces Anto Breslin at the left-full back position. Dawson Devoy takes his position in the no.10 while Keith Ward is fit enough for the bench.
Dundalk name Michael Duffy in their starting XI after recovering from a knock suffered against Rapid Wien. David McMillan replaces Patrick Hoban after the Galwegian suffered an injury against Sligo Rovers, Chris Shields returns after suspension while Sean Hoare misses out through suspension.
