Free to Waterford , its cleared by Rovers

Rovers now beginning to dominate possession, something they are very good, they do look secure enough at 2-1 up but the Blues are not giving up and their fans who make up the majority of the  3,321 present are willing them on

Rovers were gifted a third goal last week against Drogheda Utd, they have just been gifted another by Waterford and as a result they lead 2-1 with 10 mins left to play.

What a disaster for Waterford , keeper McMullan, who had been having a great game, makes a hash of a clearance, it arrives at the feet of sub Noonan, probably his first touch, and he rolls it into an empty net from about 20 meters out

Most of the pressure early in this half is coming from Waterford but they now have a player down injured and it does not look good for him,  the stretcher is being brought onto the field and he is being carried off, its  McMenamy who sustained the injury

Olayinka wins a free for Waterford, Burke takes it but its overhit, poor effort

First chance for Waterford, great run and pass by Glenfield, Amons is through but is flagged for offside 

Corner for Waterford , McMenamy to take it, its a good one but the ref blows for some infringement and its a free to Rovers 

Another quick break by Rovers , this time Matthews is steaming forward but Burke makes a last ditch tackle, good defending by the Blues

From a Byrne corner Lopes almost makes it  two for Rovers but McMullan does well again to palm the ball away to safety

10 to the break here, both sides cancelling themselves out since the  equaliser, will we have another goal before the break ?

Just after that heroics from McMullan. Rovers break quickly and Gaffney finds the corner of the net  from the edge of the box, its 1-1 !!

Honahan plays a lovely through ball to Greene who is one on one with the keeper but McMullan does really well to take the ball off his feet before he can pull the trigger- he has just prevented a certain goal for Rovers 

The home side playing with great confidence after that early goal while  Rovers seem a little lethargic in the strong evening sun

Waterford take the lead, a super cross from the Burke and an even better header from Amond, a typical centre forwards goal!!!!!!!

Glenfield tries to weave through the Rovers defence but he is outnumbered and Rovers clear the ball

Stephen Bradley rotates his squad somewhat after last weekends 3-0 win over Drogheda Utd.  Graham Burke, Matt Healy and Danny Grant drop to the bench to be replaced  by Adam Matthews, Gary O Neill and Rory Gaffney.

There is one change on the Waterford team from the eleven which beat Galway Utd here last weekend. Coonan Noonan is ineligble as he is on loan from Rovers so Dean McMenamy starts in his place
