Waterford making a few forays into the Harps box in the closing stages but they have run out of ideas and dont really look like getting an equaliser.

Waterford have very few senior players on their bench which is probably why Marc Bircham has not made some substitutions , they could certainly do with some fresh energy on the pitch.

Waterford appeared to have run out of steam and run out of confidence, Harps are totally dominant and camped in Waterford's half
Substitution!

Sean Boyd wins a free kick but McNamee's delivery is poor , the ball goes straight into the greatfull arms of Murphy.
SECOND-HALF!
Update
Waterford started very brightly and took an early lead which gave them great confidence , however as the game progressed the physically stronger Harps side began to take control and probably consider themselves unlucky not to have drawn level by the break.
They are playing three at the back, assistant manager Paul Hegarty may need to reshape the team in the second period if they are to get something out of the long journey down south.
HALF-TIME!

Marc Bircham will be well pleased if his side can hold onto their slender 1-0 lead until the break

Mascoll's free kick gives Josh Collins a free header but there is no power in it and McGinley gathers it easily.
Update
Its all Waterford in the early stages of the match, showing plenty of energy, Harps may be suffering the effects of the long bus journey down to the sunny south east .
YELLOW CARD!
Update
Poor defending by Harps allowed Mascoll rampage down their right flank without any difficulty, Ollie Horgan wont be happy with that.
Update
Great work down the left flank by left back James Mascoll, he does all the work himself and slots it past McGinley in the Harips goal.
