Diving header at the death from Josh Cullen is saved. Great chacne for the winner. Lovely cross from Cyrus Christie.

Four minutes extra at least.

A deep Cyrus Christie cross comes to Callum Robinson but he drags his shot off target.

Callum Robinson (Republic of Ireland) takes a corner-kick and it comes through Jeff Hendrick and when Robinson gets it back he shoots from the edge of the area forcing Alsheeb into a save.

Qatar captain Alhaydos forces Gavin Bazunu into another save. Qatari's had broken in number there.

Daryl Horgan (Republic of Ireland) takes a corner-kick after a dodgy backpass goes behind Qatar's endline.

Ireland move the ball well through their ranks. Jeff Hendrick's shot is blocked and he works it right. Cyrus Christie and Seamus Coleman combine but Christie's left foot effort is weak.

At least two more minutes in the opening half.

Shane Duffy closed down Ali after Daryl Horgan gave the ball away. Decent tackle by Duffy saving the day for Ireland.

Looked like Gavin Bazunu came out of his area to handle - very tight call but ref waves play on.

Daryl Horgan (Republic of Ireland) takes a corner-kick after Shane Long won the set piece.

Ireland work the ball out from the back under Qatari pressure. Troy Parrott brings Cyrus Christie in and his shot doesn't trouble the 'keeper.

Not a great clearance from Shane Duffy. Pedro MIguel lets fly from distance and avoids Bazunu's outstretched hand and avoids hitting the target.

Gavin Bazunu gets up to claim Pedro Miguel's deflected cross.

Chance for Shane Long who gambles on a back pass and he gets on it but Saad Alsheeb gets down low to save.

Almoez Ali should have found the target. He got on the end of another Pedro Miguel centre.

Saad Alsheeb gets down well to stop Ireland getting an OG.

Super save from Gavin Bazunu as Almoez Ali heads on Abdelkarim Hassan's header. However assistant ref on the near side called in again and has his flag up for offside.

Gavin Bazunu comes out of his area and takes down Pedro Miguel. Ref points to the spot for a peno but assistant ref tells him it is not a peno. The Rochdale 'keeper hardly touched him.

Daryl Horgan (Republic of Ireland) takes a corner-kick after Robbie Brady's effort takes a touch to take it just by the post.

#refwatch For this game in Hungary local ref Balázs Berke is in charge. He officiated Linfield's 2-0 win over San Marino side Tre Fiori last year in Champions League preliminary round game played in Nyon. Bastien Hery got the opener for the Blues that night.

Welcome to this evening's coverage of the much anticipated Qatar v Republic of Ireland friendly. Okay maybe not so anticipated but it is Ireland's last game for six months so its time to fill our boots with international football. I won't talk up an Ireland win or some goals but that would be nice wouldn't it. The game kicks off in Hungary at 7.45pm.
