The game has ended between Bray Wanderers and Wexford Youths. It's Bray that come out on top in this pivitol relegation fixture, and the number of goals conceded by Youths is always bad news as it has eradicated their goal-difference advantage over the Seagulls. With Longford losing 1-0 to Bohemians, it's an opportunity gained for Bray and one lost for Youths. Both of these sides are now on level points in the Premier Division table, but Harry Kenny's side leapfrog Shane Keegan's men on goal-difference. I've been Fran Reilly, my colleague Ferdia Fallon Verbruggen will have a match report with you shortly.

Gareth McDonagh fires over. Ger Pender is down on the edge of the box receiving medical treatment. He's getting to his feet now.

Mulligan drives Youths forward and after some neat play, feeds O'Keefe on the right wing. His cross towards the nearpost is good but Furlong doesn't challenge for it and it lands in Cherrie's hands.

Dylan Connolly breaks down the right flank and cuts it back to Ryan Brennan on the far side of the box, but his drive flashes wide of the far post, with Lewis getting a nick on it.

Bonner sees a shot blocked once again by Douglas. It's been a frustrating evening for the Youths.

Gary Delaney hits an ambitious shot from just inside the Bray half which seemed to catch Cherrie unawares, but which the 'keeper was able to gather at the second attempt. Moments later, Youths come forward with Furlong feeding Molloy on the right flank. The winger cuts in and hits a stinging left-footed shot from 20 yards which is straight at Cherrie.

Little of note has occured in goalmouth action in the last few minutes with Youths crowded out in their attempts to break through the Bray backline. As I right this, Molloy fires a poor cross over the bar, to the frustration of Youths players and fans. 

Lewis fires into the arms of Doyle with the goal gaping after a nice Bray move forward. Kelly raced onto a through ball, but Doyle was able to come out and block. The loose ball fell to Brennan whose on shot was blocked, but it reached Lewis who, with an open goal, could only put it into the arms of a grateful Doyle who hadn't fully gotten back to his goalline yet. Crazy stuff!

Bray nearly score again. A Kelly free-kick was palmed away by Doyle, but only as far as Gareth McDonagh at the far post who somehow contrived to head back across goal but not on target. Moments later, Moore fired over, but it looked like Doyle tipped it over - the referee thought otherwise.

Danny Furlong brings another great save from Cherrie after Douglas gave away a free-kick just a fraction outside the box. Cherrie beats the shot away and it's partially cleared, reaching Murphy 30 yards from goal. He flicks it up and swivels, hitting a fierce volley that flies just over.

Peter Cherrie makes an astounding save! Johnny Bonner delivers an excellent ball into the area, right onto the head of Gary Delaney who was unmarked six yards from goal. The header looked perfect, downward, into the ground and beyond the 'keeper, but he somehow clawed it from behind himself and out for a corner. Excellent stop. From the corner, Delaney gets another headed chance again but he heads over.

Bonner wastes a free-kick in a decent position, overhitting it towards the back post and it goes out for a free-kick. Youths need better if they are to get back into this game.

Eric Molloy is booked for Wexford Youths. The Bray Messi draws a needless foul from Molloy.

It is half-time between Bray Wanderers and Wexford Youths. It has been an evenly contested game and Bray are ahead by virtue of Dean Kelly converting their best sight of goal all game. Youths have had half chances, seeing efforts blocked, with Hugh Douglas in particular showing a special apptitude for being in the right place at the right time in and around his own penalty area. It's been a decent game so far, hopefully that continues in the second half with the addition of more goals.

Murphy swings over a cross but Danny Furlong at the far post was aniticipating it and he vainly throws a leg at it and gets nowhere near it.

Two minutes added on.

Youths have a succession of shots blocked, Paul Murphy first and then Johnny Bonner, with Douglas throwing himself in front of  the latter's bravely. Super block.

Moore swings over another free-kick and Douglas is at the backpost again, but his nodded across the face of goal doesn't get beyond the front post as Doyle punches clear.

Harry Kenny with nuanced tactical instructions, "GET IT UP THE F**CKIN' LINE!"

Bray have immediately put Youths on the backfoot, penning them into their own half without being able to create another chance at goal. Youths look a bit rattled after the concession.

There's a break in play as Cherrie needs to fix his boots. Good news for fans of both these teams is that Bohs are beating Longford thanks to Kurtis Byrne.

Molloy dribbles infield and plays a ball out to the left for Mulligan. It's just behind the left winger and he is forced to go back to Craig McCabe before taking it back off his full-back. He puts a cross in but it's too close to Cherrie who gathers.

Youths win another free-kick on the right wing, similar to where Bonner had his opportunitst shot from earlier. This time he goes for a backpost cross and his delivery is good, but Cherrie is able to come and punch clear. Bonner looks capable of creating something for the visitors here.

Johnny Bonner hits a deep pass from midfield, but it's just too far to be of any concern as Cherrie comes to claim.

Mulligan shoots over at the backpost! Paul Murphy swung over the cross and Danny Furlong nodded it down, but Mulligan could only volley over the bar. Decent game, this, end-to-end and very open. Not at all the cagey affair I feared it would be given the stakes.

Bray win another free-kick, 25 yards from goal closer to the left side of the pitch. Dean Kelly stepped up this time and hit a sweet curling effort goalward, but Graham Doyle was able to dive across and catch with minimum fuss. Youths have been warned, though.

Sean Harding, overlapping from left-back, puts a decent cross for Lewis to challenge for in the box, but Mulligan beats the Bray striker to it to head clear.

Youths win a free-kick on the right flank, over 30 yards from goal. Johnny Bonner fires a shot at pace towards Cherrie's near post tand the 'keeper had to be sharp to catch it, decent effort from that range.

Bray break through Karl Moore who carries the ball upfield. Connolly sprints free on the left side and Moore times the release perfectly. The winger, though, can't get his touch right under pressure from chasing Youths defenders and Gary Delaney gets across to deny him a shot at goal. Great recovery tackle. The resulting throw is flick into the hands of Graham Doyle by Brennan.

Delaney fouled Andew Lewis on the right flank. Moore swung it in with his left foot, putting it low and to the front of the area. Wanderers' top scorer in all competitions this season with six goals, Ryan Brennan, pulled away from the pack towards the ball, but he completely miscued his attempt and Youths were able to clear. A wasted chance for Brennan, who had more time than he thought to maybe control it and then shoot in the box, with Youths perhaps expecting a deeper delivery.

Youths won a free-kick around 25 yards from goal. Paul Murphy stepped up and opted to shoot, but his low shot lacked the power to trouble Cherrie from that distance.

Dylan Connolly burst onto a through ball behind the Youths defence, but the winger didn't get his head up and his squared cross to nobody was easily cleared.

Bray won their first corner of the match, the intial delivery of which was headed straight back out to taker Karl Moore. His second attempt found Hugh Douglas at the backpost, but he couldn't direct his header under pressure and it went wide.

Youths won the game's first corner, but the delivery was partially cleared, falling to Eric Molloy outside the box - but his first time volley flew well over.

Danny Furlong has the first shot in anger when he latched onto a long ball over the top, but Peter Cherrie stood tall to beat the shot away. Youths are making the early running, moments before Andy Mulligan broke down the left-flank and pulled back for Paul Murphy, but the striker's touch was poor and the move broke down.

An early cross from the right-flank from Karl Moore is cleared one of the two Delaneys at the heart of the Youths defence. Handy that they're both playing there today.

The teams are out and kick-off is imminent.

Bray come into the game seeking a first win in 11, while Youths are trying to end a run of three successive defeats. The Seagulls make one change from last week's 0-0 draw with Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds, Alan McNally replaced with Dean Kelly, with Gareth McDonagh presumably dropping into a deeper position on the pitch. Youths, meanwhile, are unchanged from their 1-0 loss to Derry in the Brandywell.

Welcome to the Carlisle Grounds for a relegation grudge match of potentially massive consequnce as Bray Wanderers face Wexford Youths. With Longford Town hosting Bohemians in the City Calling Stadium at the same time, the bottom three are all in action tonight and both of these sides won't want to drop points by the Seaside. For 11th place Bray, it's a chance to pull level on points with Youths just above them in the Premier Division. For Youths, it's a glorious opportunity to pull away from both Bray and Longford.
