Ground: Dalymount Park
Dublin City FC came about in 1999 following a split at Home Farm FC in 2001. They were originally know as Home Farm Fingal, changing their name to Dublin City FC in 2001. The club never developed a solid fanbase and played at many different venues without ever establishing a genuine home ground.
During their last season, 2006, they played their home games at Dalymount Park. Prior to that they had also played at Tolka Park, Whitehall and Morton Stadium.
The club won the First Division title in 2003 but, in July of 2006, ongoing financial problems made the club's position in the league untenable and they dissolved mid-season amid much acrimony.
