Brian’s Biography

Brian, the son of national U21 coach Noel King, played with Shelbourne in 2005, appearing for their U21 side. He then signed for Kilkenny City in 2006 where he made 32 appearances and scored three goals.

In 2007 Brian signed for Pete Mahon at UCD but following the club's relegation at the end of 2008 and the appointment of new boss Martin Russell, Brian left to sign for Alan Mathews at Drogheda United, following an unsuccessful trial at Stockport County. Brian made 28 league appearances in his first season at Drogheda, scoring three goals, and followed this up with 13 league appearances in 2010.
