Robert’s Biography

Robert joined Cobh Ramblers in June 2003. The Bandon based Garda had also been a member of the Cork Senior Football panel earlier in the year.

In July of 2006 Robert went to Waterford United on loan until the end of the season, but Waterford manager Gareth Cronin persuaded him to stay and sign on for the 2007 season. However, in October, at the end of the 2007 season, Robert's contract was terminated by the club for breach of contract after he played in a club GAA game just two days before a crucial league game.

In 2009 Robert turned out for Cork side Mayfield United when they met Bohemians in the FAI Cup third round. Mayfield were routed 8-1 by the Phibsborough side. Robert played no part in the club's 2012 FAI Cup run but was again involved when the 2013/14 squad qualified for the 2014 FAI Cup.
