Steve’s Biography

Steve started his career at his local club, Sligo Rovers, in 1999. He spent six seasons with the Bit 'o Red and helped them to the First Division title in 2005, making 26 league appearances that year and scoring six league goals.

Steve made just 1 more league appearance for Sligo in 2006 before signing for Michael O'Connor at Athlone Town in July. He made 14 appearances and scored three goals over the latter half of the season but Steve left the club in February 2007 to sign for Monaghan United.

Steve made 16 league appearances for Monaghan as they finished eighth of ten in the First Division, and in 2008 he was back at Sligo Rovers. He made 24 league appearances over the next two seasons but injury curtailed his contribution and in the summer of 2010 he left the club, regaining his fitness with local Junior side, Quayside Celtic.

On 21 February 2011 Steve resumed his league career, signing for Sean Connor at Galway United. He made his debut for the Tribesmen in a 3-0 home defeat to St Patrick's Athletic on the opening night of the season and made 13 league appearances before being released in July.

In August 2011 Steve signed for Irish League side Ballinamallard United.
