Vinny’s Biography
Dubliner Perth was signed by Dundalk Manager, John Gill, in December 2006 from Shamrock Rovers.
Perth had spent most of his career with Longford Town, having played there for seven seasons between 1998 and 2004, during which time he won two FAI Cup Winners medal and a League Cup Winners medal.
Vinny transferred to St.Patrick’s Athletic prior to the start of the 2005 season. He was released by the Inchicore club and was snapped up by the Hoops manager Pat Scully when the transfer window opened at the start of July 2006.
Perth spent time as assistant coach at Longford Town and head coach at Malahide United before joining up with Dundalk as assistant to Stephen Kenny in 2013.
