Sami’s Biography

Sami is a Finnish international midfielder who began his career at FC Haka in 1991. He spent five seasons with the club, making 87 league appearances, before going on to play for Neukircken in Germany, PEC Zwolle in Holland, FC Jokerit back in Finalnd and MyPa. In 2002 Sami came full circle, returning for a second spell at FC Haka.

In 2005 Sami signed for Drogheda United. He spent four years at United Park, winning an FAI Cup winners medal in 2005 when the Drogs beat Cork City in the final, and also winning a league title with the club in 2007. He left at the end of 2008 to return to Finland, signing up for a third stint at FC Haka.
