Paddy’s Biography

Patrick signed for Bohemians on July 8, 2008 and became a prolific scorer in the Bohemians "A" Team that reached the final of the A Championship that year. He made his Bohemians first team debut as a substitute in their 2-0 win over Cobh Ramblers on November 8, 2008.

Before the start of the 2009 season, Paddy joined Shelbourne on loan, making an immediate impression in pre-season and scoring in his first competitive appearance for Shels in their First Division match against Wexford Youths.

Paddy returned to Bohemians when his loan spell ended on June 29, 2009 and soon found himself a regular member of the club's starting eleven. In 2010 Paddy made huge strides, scoring 15 league and cup goals, and attracting interest from Celtic and Derby County among others.

In January of 2011 Paddy finally made the move to English football after months of speculation, signing for League One side Carlisle United. He made 35 appearances for the Cumbrian side but failed to establish a regular place in the first team, and in August 2012 he went to Yeovil Town on loan. He bagged nine goals in 16 games for the Glovers and signed a permanent deal on 1 January 2013.

But Paddy's star faded at Yeovil and he slipped out of the reckoning in the 2013/14 season. He left the club in January 2014 and dropped two divisions to sign for Scunthorpe United.

In January 2018, Paddy signed for Fleetwood Town for a six figure fee from Scunthorpe.
