Sean’s Biography

Sean is a full back who spent six years with Crumlin United before joining UCD. He was a member of the club's A Championship side that won the 2008 title and made his debut on 21 April that year in a 2-0 League Cup win over St Patrick's Athletic. His league bow came in May as a substitute in a 0-0 draw, also against St Patrick's Athletic, at Richmond Park.

Sean soon established himself in the senior side at Belfield and was part of the team that won the 2009 First Division title. As the club returned to the Premier Division in 2010, Sean made 15 league appearances, adding another 17 in 2011.

In January 2012 Sean announced that he was leaving UCD and emigrating to Australia. He lived 'down under' until 2015 when, in mid February, it was announced that he would rejoin his former UCD boss, Martin Russell, at Limerick FC for their 2015 Premier Division campaign. Sean lined out for the Blues against Bohemians on the opening night of the season and went on to make 13 league appearances, scoring once when a bizarre long range freekick beat Dundalk 'keeper Gary Rogers, before he left the club by mutual consent in August 2015.

In 2016 Sean joined Bray Wanderers where he made 17 league appearances over the season, scoring once, in a 4-0 win over Sligo Rovers at the Carlisle Grounds. He played for two more seasons at the Carlisle Grounds but left Bray at the end of 2018.
