Billy’s Biography
Billy was first called into Dundalk’s senior squad by manager John Gill in early 2008, after impressing with the club’s successful Youth team. Smith made his debut for the club in a pre-season friendly against Bray Wanderers at Oriel Park on 14 February 2008.
Billy made one league appearance in 2009, coming on a s a substitute in the 3-0 defeat away to Derry City on 4th September. In 2010 Billy scored in a Leinster Senior Cup win over Ballymun United but he left the club during the summer transfer window.
