Jason’s Biography

Jason developed at Mervue United, playing for the Galway club's under age and youth sides before signing for Galway United in 2007. Initially he played with Galway's U21 squad before graduating to the senior side in 2008. In his three seasons at Terryland Park, Jason scored five league goals in 49 league appearances.

In January 2011 he returned to his alma mater at Fahy's Field and signed for Mervue United, making his first league appearance for Mervue against local rivals Salthill Devon on the opening night of the 2011 season. He went on to make 24 league appearances in each of the next two seasons, scoring four league goals in 2011, and five 2012.

In 2013 Jason scored five times in 17 league appearances as Mervue finished third in the First Division and were narrowly beaten by Longford Town in the promotion Play-Off final. The club then conceded their place in the league to the new entity, Galway FC, for whom Jason was the first signing in December 2013.

Jason went on to make twenty-six appearances, scoring two goals, for Galway as they earned promotion to the Premier Division for the 2015 season after coming out on top in the play-offs. He stayed with the club for the 2015 season and he went on to make fifteen league appearances, scoring once in a 3-1 loss to Cork City, as Galway finished tenth in the Premier Division. He also played in the EA Sports Cup Final, which Galway lost on penalties to St Pats. He left the club at the end of the season and returned to Mervue United

In January 2017 Jason returned to league football when he signed for Athlone Town.
