Glenn’s Biography
Glenn is a product of Exeter City's youth system and made his début for the club in 2001. He went on to become a key part of Exeter's first team, being made club captain following their relegation from the Football League in 2003. Injury problems kept him out for much of the 2004/05 season but by the time Glenn left the Grecians at the end of the 05/06 season he had made 143 league appearances.
In July 2006, Glenn signed a contract with Football League Two club Chester City. His time at Chester was disrupted by injuries and he missed much of the 2006/07 season. Another injury in July 2007 ultimately caused Chester to release him from his contract on 21 November 2007 and Glenn left Chester having made just 4 league appearances.
Glenn then signed for Pat Fenlon's Bohemians on 27 February 2008 and became part of the squad that won back to back League titles in 2008 and 2009. He also won an FAI Cup winners medal in 2008 when Bohs beat Derry City in the final, and a League Cup winners medal in 2009 when Bohs beat Waterford United 3-1 in the final at the RSC.
By 2011 the landscape had changed at Dalymount Park with financial chaos looming in the background. At the end of the season Glenn left Bohemians having made a total of 95 league appearances in his time at the club.
In December of 2011, Glenn signed for Alan Mathews at Shelbourne with the Reds poised to return to the Premier Division having won promotion just two months previously. Two seasons of Premier Division football followed during which Glenn made 34 league appearances for the Reds but he left the club at the end of 2013 when they were relegated to the First Division.
