Aaron’s Biography
The Middlesborough born right-back was one of the many new faces to arrive at Finn Park prior to the start of the 2008 season. Labonte started his career as a trainee for English Premiership side Newcastle United in 2002. In the summer of 2003, he joined Scottish Premier League side Dunfermline Athletic.
Aaron made his debut for the Pars in a 0-4 defeat against Rangers at Ibrox, the first of his eighty-nine appearances for the club. He played in the 2004 Scottish Cup Final defeat to Celtic, but missed out on the 2007 final against the same opposition.
Aaron made his league debut for Harps in a 2-1 win over Cobh Ramblers at Finn Park on 7 March 2008.
