Corie is a former St Joseph’s and Cherry Orchard schoolboy who spent a couple of years at Nottingham Forest before returning home to sign for Shamrock Rovers in 2008. He made his debut for the Hoops against Derry City at Tolka Park on 9 May and made 24 league appearances in his two seasons with Rovers.

In 2010 Corie played at Drogheda United making 20 league appearances and scoring once, in a 3-1 defeat against Galway United at Terryland Park in April.

In February 2011 he signed for Pat Scully at Limerick FC where he made 24 league appearances that year. The following season Corie was again a key member of the Limerick back line and he added 18 league appearances to his career tally as the Blues won the First Division title.

In January 2013 Corie signed for Tony Cousins at Longford Town and made his debut for the club in a 5-0 win over Salthill Devon on the opening night of the season. He made 15 league appearances that year as Longford missed out on promotion in the end-of-season play-offs.

Corie signed for the Shamrock Rovers B team in February 2014.
