Reece McEnteer was a member of Monaghan United's 2010 u20 squad. He first appeared for the Monaghan first team as an unused substitute in a First Division game against Derry City on August 6th 2010. Reece left Monaghan United at the end of the 2010 season.

In 2011 Reece played at Drogheda United, making just one first team outing, as an unused sub against Sligo Rovers on 23 September 2011. At the end of the season, Reece joined Glebe North in the LSL.

Reece returned to League of Ireland action when he played on trial for Shelbourne in friendlies against Ipswich Town and Leeds United. He joined the club until the end of the season in July 2016.

Reece then re-signed for the 2017 season with Shelbourne. In December 2017, Reece re-signed with Shels for the 2018 season.
