Shane’s Biography
Shane played with Athlone Town in 2010, making 3 league appearances over the season. He left the club at the end of 2010 and signed for Drogheda United in July 2011, making his first appearance for them as a substitute away to St Patrick's Athletic in August. He went on to make 4 league appearances for the Drogs over the latter half of the season.
In January 2012 Shane signed for irish League side Carrick Rangers where he played until the end of the 2011/12 season. He played in a friendly for Longford Town against Millwall in July of 2012 but his next stop was Donegal Celtic who he joined in August of 2012. He scored 3 times in 16 league appearances before joining Ballymena United who he signed for in December 2012. He made 27 league appearances for the Irish League side and scored six goals before returning south of the border in January 2014 when he signed for Johnny McDonnell at Shelbourne.
Shane made just 2 league appearances for Shelbourne in 2014 before leaving the club by mutual consent in June. Shane then appeared for Warrenpoint in a friendly game against Drogheda - in which he scored - in July 2015.
