Robert’s Biography
An imposing central defender, Robert is a Latvian international. He joined Cork City following a spell on trial with the club in early 2009, having played for both FK Riga and Skonto Riga in 2008.
Robert made his debut for Cork away to Sligo Rovers on the opening night of the season but picked up an ankle injury in the second game at home to St Patrick's Athletic. He made only one more appearance for the club before returning to Latvia during the summer transfer window.
