John’s Biography
John Tierney joined Limerick 37 during the July 2007 transfer window and scored five times in 19 league appearances over the latter half of his debut season.
In February 2008 John signed for Alan Mathews at Cork City but he failed to make the first team at Turner's Cross and returned to Limerick on a loan deal in August of that year. He would remain with Limerick for the next two and a half years, scoring 11 league goals in 70 league appearances.
John left Limerick FC in November 2010 and joined local Limerick side, Pike Rovers. John played for Janesboro during the 2015/16 season.
