Andries’s Biography
Andries is a goalkeeper who began his senior career at his hometown club Heerenvven in 2013, but he moved on to NAC Breda the following year without having made a league appearance there.
He played at Breda for four seasons until January 2018 when he went to Italy to join Foggia where he played for almost two years, returning to the Netherlands in September 2019 to sign for Dordrecht.
Andries' next move came in January 2021 when he signed a short term deaal with Go Ahead Eagles until the end of the 2020/21 season. He ended up staying until May 2022 when he returned to his first club, Heerenveen.
Andries was first called up to the Netherrlands national team by Louis van Gaal in September 2022 and was included in the squad that traveled to the 2022 World Cup Finals in Qatar.
