Matthew’s Biography
Matty came through the youth system at Nottingham Forest and joined their first team squad in 2016, but he made his senior debut while on loan at Dagenham and Redbridge in March of that year. He went on to make 129 league appearances for Forest before signing for Aston Villa in September 2020.
Though born in England, Matty's mother is Polish and he is a Polish citizen. He made his senior international debut for Poland against Andorra on 12 November 2021.
