Remko’s Biography
Remko started his senior career at his hometown club FC Twente in 2003, spending three years there before signing for Heracles in 2006. His eight seasons at Heracles included a two-year loan spell at Go Ahead Eagles, but when he left the club it was to sign for PSV Eindhoven in 2014.
Remko won two Eredivisie titles with PSV but left after three years to join Vitesse Arnhem where he played for four years, leaving in 2021 to sign for Ajax. He played for Ajax in the 2021/22 Champions League and won his third Eredisie title there in 2020/21.
Remko made his senior international debut for the Netherlands against Poland on 22 September 2022 and was part of the Netherlands squad that played at the 2022 World Cup Finals in Qatar.
