Giovanni’s Biography
Giovanni is the son of former Sunderland and Manchester City striker Claudia Reyna and was born in Sunderland before his family returned to the US in 2007. He spent four years at the New York City FC academy, leaving in 2019 to join the youth set up at German side Borussia Dortmund.
In 2020 Giovanni stepped up to Dortmund's senior side.
He made his senior international debut for the US against Wales on 12 November 2020.
