Brendan’s Biography
Brendan came through the underage ranks at Home Farm and was part of their successful U19 side in 1982/83. The following season he became involved with their senior LOI side under Dave Bacuzzi and he was part of the Farm squad until January 1985 when he signed for Shelbourne.
Brendan's first league game for Shels came on 12 January 1985 when he came on as a second half substitute against Cork City at Flower Lodge, which happened to be former Liverpool star, Terry McDermot's debut for the home side. He made just three league appearances for the Reds and the following season he joined'B' Division side St Brendan's.
One season later and Brendan was back in Home Farm colours, again playing at LOI level. But his second spell with the Tolka Park side lasted just one season before he joined LSL side Are Lingus.
