Gary’s Biography
Gary began his League of ireland career at Shamrock Rovers under Johnny Giles in 1980. He made his senior debut in a Leinster Senior Cup game against Cherrywood Athletic on 28 August 1980 and played for just over two seasons at Milltown before a move to Shelbourne in October 1982.
He was to play for Shelbourne for eight seasons, slipping out of favour only when new manager Pat Byrne took charge in the 1989/90 season.
