David began his career at Czech club, Sigma Olomouc, in 2019. He was soon loaned out to Slavia Prague, a deal which was made permanent in the Summer of 2020.
He made his senior Czech international debut against Estonia in March 2021 and was part of the Czech squad that played in the covid-delayed Euro 2020 tournament which took place in the Summer of 2021.
