Will’s Biography

Will Smallbone is an Irish footballer who plays for English Premier League club Southampton.

The goalscoring midfielder has represented the Republic of Ireland at under-18 and under-19 level. He played three games in qualifying for the under-19 European Championships in Armenia, scoring twice, but was not released to play in the finals as Ireland finished fourth.

Will made his Southampton debut in the FA Cup against Millwall in January 2019 and scored in a 2-0 victory. He made his Premier League debut the following month as he started in a 2-0 win over West Ham United. In June 2020, Will signed a new 4 year contract with Southampton.
