Cristian spent his youth football with Valencia, playing for it's B side for four years, before leaving the club in the summer of 2007. For the next six years, Crisitan played for lower league Spanish clubs in the second and third tier before getting a move to Platanias FC in the Superleague, the top tier of Greek football, in January 2013.

Cristian only made six appearances for the club before leaving them in January 2014 to return to Spain to Cullera. He was on the move abroad again in the summer of that year as he moved to Serie D club Terracina. However, the club folded and was refounded come the end of the season as they finished in the relegation places.

Cristian found another club in January 2016 as he joined Romanian Liga II side Ceahlaul. He went on to make six league appearances and two in the relegation playoffs as the club were relegated at the end of the season. In August 2016, Cristian came to the League of Ireland to sign for Derry City under Kenny Shiels. He made his Derry debut away to Longford Town on 8 October 2016 and made 3 league appearances for the Candystripes. At the end of the season Cristian returned to Spain where he signed for Torre Levante.
