Paul played for Cabinteely's U17 squad for the 2016 season before being handed his debut from the bench in the senior side's First Division match against Cobh Ramblers on 4 June 2016. Paul became a regular member of Cabinteely's match day squad and he finished the season with 11 league appearances.

In 2017 Paul scored his first league goal, in a 2-1 win over Cobh Ramblers at Stradbrook on 7 July, and added 8 more league appearances to his career tally.
