Lukas’s Biography

Lukas was a part of Red Bull Salzburg's academy before joining SV Grödig in January 2008. He went on to play a part in the club's promotion from the Regionalliga West to the Erste Liga that season although they were relegated back down before yo-yoing back up the following year. They stayed in the league for three seasons before 2012/13 saw the club promoted to the top division in Austria, the Bundesliga.

Lukas played a part in five league matches at the start of the 2013/14 season before a heart condition ruled him out for the rest of the campaign and the following season too. He eventually returned to play for the second team in August 2015 and made twenty league appearances for them before he left the club in April 2016. He had made over 150 appearances for SV Grödig during his seven-year spell at the club.

In May 2016, Lukas signed for Derry City and made his debut in the FAI Cup match against Drogheda United, winning a penalty to level the tie after coming off the bench. He went on to make 15 league appearances for the Candystripes, scoring three league goals as well as one strike in the FAI Cup quarter-final against Wexford Youths.

In July 2020 Lukas signed for FC Pinzgau on a two year deal.
