Aaron played for Institute FC as a youth before moving to Tottenham Hotspur. He left Spurs at the end of his two-year deal in June 2015 and trained with Derry City where he then signed an eighteen month contract with the club on July 30th 2015.
Aaron made his league debut for Derry in a 2-0 home defeat to Dundalk on 14 August 2015 and went on to make 9 league appearances that year. In 2016 Aaron was a key member of a Derry side that finished third in the league, thus qualifying for the Europa League. He made 29 league appearances and weighed in with six league goals and in September of that year he signed a new two-year deal with the Candystripes.
Aaron re-signed with Derry for the 2018 season.
In November 2018, Aaron signed for Shamrock Rovers ahead of the 2019 season.
