Matthew’s Biography
Matthew is a goalkeeper who joined Waterford United u19 squad in July 2015 from Ferrybank AFC where he played his schoolboy and youth football. He didn't make any first team appearances in 2015 but was an unused substitute on five occasions and he finally made his league debut for the Blues as a late substitute in a 3-3 draw away to Athlone Town on 8 April 2016. Matthew went on to make 11 league appearances that year.
Matthew made the Blues' bench twelve times in 2017 without adding to his league appearances and he left the club in the July of that year.
