Mateusz’s Biography
Having come through the Legia Warsaw youth system, Mateusz spent three seasons with their senior side from 2014 to 2017. He played for Legia during their 2014/15 Champions League campaign when they faced St. Patrick's Athletic in the Second Qualifying Round. He was still at the club when they faced Dundalk in the Play-Offs for the Champions League Group Stages in 2016.
In 2017 he left Warsaw to join Gornik Zabrze where he played for just one season before returning to Legia Warsaw in 2018. After four more seasons with Legia, he moved to France in July 2022 where he signed for Ligue 1 side Clermont.
He made his senior international debut for Poland against Belgium on 14 June 2022.
