Dylan’s Biography

Dylan played underage football with Glencormac United and St Joseph's before joining Derby County on a two-year contract in the summer of 2011. He initially signed a two year contract but this was renewed for a third year by Nigel Clough. At Derby Dylan shared digs with Adam Wixted (Drogheda) and was also at Derby at the same time as Ryan Connolly (Galway), Graham Kelly (St Pat's) and Jack Tuite (Shelbourne).

Dylan's last involvement with Derby was travelling to the Championship play-off final against QPR in May 2014, a game won by a late goal from QPR's Bobby Zamora. Three days later he was released by then Manager Steve McClaren. He returned to Ireland where he joined Athlone Town and on the 9th August, in his 2nd match for the Midlanders, they played QPR and Dylan marked none other than Bobby Zamora.

In July of 2014 he played for Athlone Town in a summer friendly against Dundee United while awaiting international clearance to sign a permanent deal with the Midlands club. On 31 July 2014 he finally put pen to paper. He went on to play a part in 9 of Athlone's remaining twelve league matches as they were narrowly relegated on the final day of the 2014 season.

In November 2014, the right back followed Athlone manager Keith Long to Bohemians where he went on to make 12 league appearances, as the club finished fifth in the 2015 Premier Division. Dylan made a further 12 league appearances for Bohemians in 2016. He also picked up a Leinster Senior Cup Winners medal that season

In February 2017 Dylan took part in Bray Wanderers pre-season matches but did not sign for the club, and in March of that year he re-signed for Bohemians. He spent that year at Dalymount Park but did sign for bray the following year, signing for the Seagulls in January 2018. Dylan left Bray at the end of that season after the club was relegated to the First Division.
