Connor played for Cork City's u19 squad during the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons. Connor then appeared for the first team in their mid-season friendly game against Liverpool's Development Squad and soon after made his professional debut, and only appearance for the 2015 season, as he came off the bench against Longford Town on the 18th of July 2015. It was his only appearance during that season although he was included on the bench numerous times.

Connor stayed with Cork for the 2016 season and signed his first professional deal in July 2016. Soon after, he joined Cobh Ramblers on loan until the end of the season. He made ten league appearances for the Rams, scoring on his debut against UCD at St Colman's Park on 23rd July, and had bagged four goals by the time he returned to Cork City at the end of his loan period.

Connor signed for Limerick on a two year deal in January 2018. Connor left Limerick in June 2019 citing the fact that the club had failed to pay his wages and rent allowance.
